My name is Kayla Crossan and I serve as the 7th and 8th grade school counselor. I center my work on a person-centered philosophy, ensuring every student feels heard, valued, and empowered. I work closely with students, families, and teachers to support each learner’s unique needs and strengthen the school community. I am committed to connecting students and families with meaningful resources that promote growth, well-being, and long-term success. When I am not at school, you can find me walking my adventurous dog Remi, playing with my fluffy cat Summer, and line dancing!

Welcome to Meridian Creek Middle School!

My name is Anastasya Shearer, and I am excited to serve as the 6th-grade school counselor. My role is to support students as they transition into middle school, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I work closely with students, families, teachers, and other support systems to ensure each student feels connected, supported, and confident as they begin this new chapter. I’m passionate about creating a welcoming environment where every student feels seen, supported, and empowered.
